Delete your account

In the app

Open the app, go to the Profile tab, tap Edit, then Delete account at the bottom of the Account section. It asks twice on purpose. The account is gone the moment you confirm.

Without the app

Deleted the app already? Fill this in and we will do it for you. You do not need to install anything and you do not need to sign in. Prefer email? Write to [email protected] from the address on your account.

What gets deleted

• DeleteYour login, so nobody can sign in to the account again
• DeleteYour name, email, phone, date of birth and every other detail on your profile
• DeleteYour profile photo and banner, including the files in storage
• DeleteYour chats, the messages you sent and your group memberships
• DeleteYour friends list
• DeleteYour push notification tokens, so no notification can reach that phone
• DeleteYour private dance goals and your course progress

What we keep, and why

• KeepBooking and payment records. We have to keep these for the academy's accounts and for tax.
• KeepAttendance and class certificates, because they are part of your class history and the teacher's records.
• KeepYour account row itself, scrubbed of everything personal and no longer reachable, so those records still tie together.

Retaining records for legal, tax and accounting reasons is allowed under Google Play's data deletion policy, which is why we say it here in plain words instead of deleting the numbers behind the academy.
